Sidecut World Cup Ski File 100mm Cut 14

A well-chosen file is the foundation of a clean, sharp edge. The Sidecut World Cup Ski File 100mm Cut 14 is a European-made, hard-chromed rectangular file built specifically for side-edge tuning, and it's one of the most popular cuts in the Sidecut lineup thanks to its versatile medium tooth pattern.

Features

• Precision-sized for side edges: Measuring 100 x 25mm (4 x 1 in), this compact file is shaped and sized specifically for side-edge work.
• Medium cut for everyday tuning: Cut 14 delivers 14 teeth per centimeter, a medium cut that handles the bulk of routine side-edge filing.
• Direction arrow built in: A laser-printed arrow on the file face shows the correct filing direction every time.
• Designed for file guides: Pairs with Sidecut's File Guides and Trigger Clamp System for consistent, repeatable bevel angles.
• Hard-chromed and European-made: The hard-chrome finish and European manufacturing are why this file is favored by many professional tuners.

Good to know

Short files like this 100mm option outperform longer files for side-edge work: because only one point of the file contacts the ski's sidecut contour, you get exactly the bevel angle you're aiming for. Longer, tanged files aren't suited to file guides for the same reason — that extra length works against bevel accuracy. For a polished, ready-to-ride edge, finish up with a Sidecut Diamond or Ceramic Stone.

Ideal for: Race, all-mountain and powder skis, as well as snowboards.
