Cashier and Customer Service


Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers, provide information, and respond to inquiries (in person, by phone and e-mail) and direct them to the appropriate department.
  • Carry out transactions at the checkout, receive payments by cash, credit card, debit card and gift card.
  • Finalize equipment rental contracts by validating the data entered and gathering additional information.
  • Completing goods guarantee claim forms.
  • Participate in labelling goods and put them away in an orderly and accessible manner. 
  • Contribute to other team work as requested.

Skills Required:

  • Experience as a cashier and in customer service.
  • Be meticulous and pay great attention to detail.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • Professional, smiling, enthusiastic, punctual and with an interest in snow sports.
  • Previous experience of Lightspeed software is an asset.

 



Clothing Advisor


Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers, provide advice, and respond to information requests on winter clothing and accessories.
  • Label goods and store products in an orderly and accessible way, on shelves or walls.
  • Ensure tidiness and organize clothing and accessories.
  • Participate in team work as requested.

Skills Required:

  • Experience in sales and customer service.
  • Skiing and/or snowboarding as a personal hobby and the ability to pass on your passion for the sport to customers.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • Professional, sociable, smiling, enthusiastic and punctual.

 



Ski Technician


Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs on skis and snowboards, such as changing soles, replacing bindings, cutting skins, etc.
  • Mount and adjust bindings according to the physical characteristics of the skier or snowboarder, while complying with current safety standards.
  • Sharpen the edges of skis and boards to improve their performance on the slopes.
  • Apply layers of wax to improve glide and protect the soles.
  • Inspect equipment to detect faults and potential problems.
  • Advise customers on the upkeep and maintenance of their equipment.
  • Use specialized tools and machinery to carry out maintenance, repairs, and adjustments.
  • Keep accurate records of repairs and services carried out on equipment.
  • When required, act as an equipment sales and rental advisor.

Skills Required:

  • Experience as a ski workshop technician.
  • Knowing how to operate and maintain a Montana Challenge machine is an asset.
  • To take customer safety and satisfaction to heart.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • Professional, sociable, smiling, enthusiastic and punctual.
  • Skiing and/or snowboarding as a personal hobby.
