Description

Sidecut Nanox Training Wax – 300 Grams

Sidecut's Nanox Training Wax simplifies wax day by working across every temperature and snow condition, so there's no wrong wax to pick and no shelf of specialty products to manage.

Features

  • All-condition performance: One wax handles every temperature and snow type, removing the guesswork of matching wax to conditions.
  • Fast, simple application: One of the quickest waxing systems to apply, which speeds up race-day prep.
  • Exceptional glide: Delivers top-tier glide, up to 5% faster than comparable waxes.
  • Long-lasting protection: Bonds into the base longer and resists abrasion better than standard waxes.
  • Fluorocarbon-free: Formulated without fluorocarbons, so it's non-toxic.
  • Better value: Replaces a full range of temperature-specific waxes with a single product.
  • Generous coverage: A 300-gram box covers roughly 30 to 35 pairs of adult skis, 40 to 45 pairs of junior skis, or 25 to 30 snowboards.

Durability & Good to Know

Iron the wax in at approximately 120–140°C (248–284°F), depending on the iron. Remove it while still lukewarm, about two minutes later, with a sharp 3mm or 5mm scraper, then brush right away with a nylon oval brush. Once the base has fully cooled, re-brush to bring it to a high polish.

Leaving the wax on longer than recommended will not make your skis or board faster — follow the short protocol above for best results. For optimal performance, your base structure should match current snow conditions and be ground perfectly flat and fiber-free. With regular use, Nanox also works into the base at a molecular level, building what Sidecut calls a "higher ground speed" over time. Ski tourers should note that Nanox Training and Extra-Hard Training wax may affect the glue on some climbing skins with prolonged contact.

Ideal for: Ski racers, freeriders, snowboarders, and Nordic skiers.
