IN STORE PREVENTIVE MEASURES
Health and safety of our clients and employees is our priority.

• Posters and signs are placed inside the store to remind all of social distancing rules and practices (entrance, cashier, service counter);
• One-way corridors help with keeping distances;
• 2m markers are set on the floor to help with keeping safe distance from others in the store; and,
• Plexiglass is installed at various high traffic counters (service, cashier).

HYGIENE

  • Alcohol based hand gel distributors are available at the entrance/exit and key locations throughout the store;
  • You will be greeted at the entrance by an employee that will ensure all clients and staff use hand sanitizer on arrival;
  • Ski Town strives to keep its store as safe as possible. We have increased the frequency and the time allocated to disinfect high risk areas such as counters, ramps, doors, toilets and employee areas. The same applies to working tools (phones, credit card pads, computers, bar code scanners) as well as merchandise on display that is handled by staff or customers;
  • We have identified where staff should wear personal protective equipment (gloves, face shields) and trained them on the proper downing and removal of such equipment.

  • We invite you to limit handling merchandise and request the assistance of a staff if you wish to do so;
  • We have limited the number of cabins available for trying on clothes;
  • Less items are allowed inside the cabins;
  • You may have to contribute more to trying out ski boots as our employees will be less in close contact with each customer;
  • Items that have been tried by customers will be quarantined for 48 hrs;

MERCHANDISE RETURN
• All returns will be done without contact by staff and you may be asked to handle the item to show the status of it or reason for the return. Returns will be accepted at the client service counter.

EMPLOYEE TRAINING
In accordance with public health and safety guidelines our staff have been trained and will be monitored to reduce the risk of Covid-19 propagation. Ongoing training and supervision is to be expected as the situation evolves. Our staff will perform the following additional measures: hand hygiene, coughing and sneezing in the elbow or a tissue, monitoring own health and symptoms, limit contact with other people, wearing gloves where applicable and follow daily direction issued by managers on site.

All these measures may have an impact on the expected time it takes to perform otherwise routine activities, rest assured the level and quality of service will remain the same and these measures are emplaced to protect everyone’s health. We wish all our devoted customers will understand and be patient with measures taken at Ski Town.
